Description:
We are on the hunt for a Data Engineer to bolster our team and amplify our core product development. By designing, building, and managing our data infrastructure, you will enable the creation of predictive models and personalized user experiences while ensuring the integrity and accessibility of our diverse data set.
Who are you?
- 4+ years of experience as a data engineer (preferably in a startup environment)
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
- Strong SQL experience in querying large and complex data sets.
- Proficiency in data modeling specifically star schema methodology.
- Skilled in Python, capable of efficiently utilizing it for data manipulation analysis and developing pipelines within a large-scale data setting.
- Proven experience in building and deploying code in production environments
- Hands-on experience with data workflow management platforms like Airflow (advantage)
What You'll Do:
As a Data Engineer at Now You Know, you'll be working closely with stakeholders from tech, product, marketing and growth:
- Developing, implementing and supporting robust, scalable solutions to improve business analysis capabilities
- Managing data pipelines from multiple sources, including designing, implementing, and maintaining
- Collaborate across the business with various stakeholders, such as data developers, systems analysts, data scientists and softwares engineers
- Develop innovative tools and platforms that enable analysts, marketers, and growth managers to leverage data effectively, driving insights and action across the company.
